1 package Nasoya Super Firm Tofu
Olive or sesame oil spray

For the sauce:
¼ cup coconut aminos
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon fresh or powdered ginger
1 teaspoon fresh of powdered garlic powder
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon sriracha
1 tablespoon potato starch mixed with 3 tbsp water

For serving:
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Rice and your choice of vegetables

Preparation

  1. Cut the tofu into bite sized cubes.
  2. Whisk the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
  3. In a non-stick pan, sauté the tofu on medium-high heat until crispy and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Spray the pan with olive oil or sesame oil as needed.
  4. Turn the stove down to low-heat and stir the sauce into the tofu. Stir until the sauce thickens up, which will be almost instantly.
  5. Serve the tofu with brown or white rice and a veggie of choice - steamed broccoli pairs wonderfully. Garnish the tofu with sesame seeds.
