Everything Bagel Dip with Fried Won Ton Chips

Ingredients

Vegan Cream Cheese:
1 package Nasoya Extra Firm Tofu
½ cup refined coconut oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt

Vegan Sour Cream:
1–12 oz. box of silken tofu
1 tbsp. lemon juice (or juice from one lemon)
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
salt to taste

Everything Bagel Dip:
1 (8 ounce package) vegan cream cheese^^
1 1/2 cups vegan sour cream ^^
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning Mix

Fried Wonton Chips:
25 wonton wrappers each cut into 4 triangles
Canola or vegetable oil
Flakes sea salt and/or other favorite seasonings

Preparation

  1. Mix cream cheese with your mixer until smooth. Add in spices and sour cream, beat until combined.
  2. Scoop into a bowl, Serve with bagel chips.
  3. Refrigerate any leftovers.
  4. For Fried Wonton Chips: Adjust oven racks to upper-middle and lower-middle positions and heat oven to 400°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment.
  5. Place the cut wonton wrappers on the baking sheets and brush both sides of the wonton wrappers very lightly with oil.
  6. Lightly sprinkle the top-side of the wrappers with flaked sea salt.
  7. Place one baking sheet in the middle of each rack and cook 5 minutes.
  8. After 5 minutes, set the bottom tray on the upper-middle rack and the set the upper tray on the lower-middle rack, and rotate each tray from front to back.
  9. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until the chips are light golden brown.
  10. Set sheets on a cooling rack and carefully transfer the chips to a different baking sheet or serving tray.
