Classic Gyoza Dipping Sauce
- ½ cup rice vinegar
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ⅓ cup thinly sliced green onions
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
Thai Peanut Sauce
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsalted, unsweetened)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sriracha sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1/3 cup water
Ssamjang Sauce
- 1/4 cup doenjang (soybean paste)
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegan honey
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 4 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Preparation
- To make gyoza sauce: Whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, green onions, garlic, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ginger in a bowl. Let sit for 15 minutes before serving
- To make Thai peanut sauce: Add the peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, vinegar, sriracha, and maple syrup to a small bowl or jar. Whisk together, then whisk in the water slowly until the desired consistency has been reached. This peanut sauce tends to thicken up over time, so add more water as needed to thin. Taste and adjust as you'd like
- To make ssamjang: Whisk together all ingredients except for the sesame seeds and green onions. When smooth, stir in the green onions and sesame seeds
