Spicy Kimchi Hummus on Crackers

- 1 15oz canned chickpeas – rinsed and drained
- ¾ cup Nasoya Kimchi
- 2 tbsp tahini paste
- 2-3 tbsp juice from the jar of kimchi
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
Toppings:
- whole kimchi
- cubes of vegan cheese
- various colors of sliced cherry tomatoes
- sliced radish
- sliced watermelon radish
- bacon bits
- Asian pear slices
- Chives
- white sesame seeds
- black sesame seeds
- Ritz crackers
Preparation
- Drain the kimchi to measure it and keep the kimchi juice aside.
- In a food processor, add the chickpeas, kimchi, tahini and sriracha sauce. Then, add 2 tablespoons of the kimchi juice.
- Process until smooth and creamy. You may need to take a break or two to scrape the walls.
- Then, taste and adjust consistency with more kimchi juice as needed and see if it needs a little salt or not (depending on the kimchi you used).
- Smear on ritz crackers and top with your desired toppings!
