For the wontons:
- 1 package of Nasoya Wonton Wrappers, thawed at room temperature
- 1 package of Nasoya Plantspired Superfood Skillet Zesty Mexican Style
- ¼ cup Fresh Cravings Chunky Mild Salsa
- ¼ medium yellow onion, diced
- ¼ cup shredded vegan cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- Avocado oil cooking spray
Spicy dipping sauce:
- ½ cup vegan mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Fresh Cravings Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 F.
- Place the dipping sauce ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk together until combined.
- Warm oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the onion until soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Pour the contents of the Nasoya Plantspired Superfood Skillet Zesty Mexican Style packet into the skillet and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in Fresh Cravings Salsa and cheese, if using.
- Lay wonton wrappers on a flat, nonstick surface. Moisten the edge of each wrapper with water.
- Place about 2 teaspoons of filling in the middle of each wrapper.
- Fold the wonton wrapper over to form a triangle and seal the edges with water.
- Repeat with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
- Working in batches to prevent overcrowding, spray the air fryer basket with oil and place wontons flat inside. Spray wontons with oil. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, flip and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and crisp
- Serve the wontons with the spicy dipping sauce.
